My Note To You

  • I’m Monica Ezue, Founder and CEO of ZiZa, and I am overjoyed to welcome you to our community of ZiZa mamas.

    After giving birth to my 2 sons, I struggled with body image and could barely recognize myself. I would try to get dressed up to make myself feel better but could never find maternity underwear that was comfortable (because of my c-section scar and changing body), functional, while also being appealing to the eyes. It was at that point that ZiZa undergarments, my third child, was birthed. Not only did I want to feel my best, but I wanted to help other mamas too.

    Every single product and detail has been carefully crafted and designed with you in mind. Every time you wear one of our products, I really hope you feel great and are reminded of your womanhood which can so easily be forgotten whilst being everything to our precious little ones.

    Our foundation is love – a love that ripples through every single fabric choice, feature, and design. We believe that you deserve to look and feel your very best, whilst pregnant and in the postpartum period that follows. We hope that finding cute, comfortable, and functional maternity underwear is now one less ‘to-do’ item on your ever mounting list.

    Our aim is two-fold.

    Firstly, to create stylish maternity and nursing undergarments that make you look and feel beautiful. Secondly, to create a community of mamas who can be transparent and share in the joys, chaos, struggles, beauty that is motherhood.

  • Our Name

    ZiZa is a girl’s name of Hebrew origin meaning ‘SPLENDOR, ABUNDANCE’

    ZiZa is also a tribute to the 2 beautiful boys who inspired this brand. The Zi, my firstborn and heartbeat Zion. The Za, my treasure and delight Zane. Our name is a statement, a reminder, an affirmation for mamas everywhere.
